There’s a new discussion regarding one of today’s most controversial topics: birth control. In the past it has been questioned why birth control pills are currently not covered by most private insurance plans, but products like Viagra are. It seems change may be coming soon. This week, the non-partisan Institute of Medicine recommended that health insurers reclassify women’s contraceptives as “preventive care” and cover them without requiring a co-payment under the Affordable Care Act.

The Maid in the Strauss-Kahn Case Goes Public

Nafissatou Diallo is the maid who has accused the head of the International Monetary Fund of sexual assault. Diallo has decided to go public in her case against Dominique Strauss-Kahn and what happened in that New York City hotel room.

Diallo’s credibility has been questioned openly by Strauss-Kahn’s defense attorneys, with Diallo addressing the issue with Robin Roberts at ABC News.

Mother Allegedly Kills Her Baby, Then Shops with Him for Three Hours

Toyrianna Smith is accused of doing the unthinkable – she allegedly killed her baby and then carried him around on her chest for the next three hours while shopping. Her three-month-old son, Ken Blackman, Jr., was in a BabyBjorn, which mounts on her chest. Prosecutors claim that the baby died after Smith repeatedly beat and suffocated the child the night before.

Woman Poses as Ex-Husband’s Wife on Craig’s List, Looking for Casual Sex

Natasha W. Larson, 35, was arrested for allegedly placing phony sex ads on Craigslist listing the name, address and phone number of her husband's ex-wife.

A Florida woman set up a phony Craigslist ad to send sex-starved men chasing after her husband's ex-wife, cops said.

Natasha Larson, 35, who runs a home day care center in Sarasota, Fla., was arrested last week for allegedly posing as her husband's ex-wife, Tracy Wilder, in steamy ads she placed in the site's personals section, Bradenton police said.

"I am currently dating a decent man but he is lacking some skills in the bedroom," the ad said, according to the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. "It's nice but I need to be thrown around a little bit and to be dominated. That is exciting for me."

The posting claimed she sometimes likes to dominate.
