On a recent spring evening in New York City where there was a clear and majestic-like breeze in the air - family, friends as well as fashion, media and literary elite came out to celebrate the birthday of one of their own – Harriette Cole: wife, mother, author, motivational speaker, magazine editor, and media and lifestyle consultant and writer.
The Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, New York provided the perfect ambiance for this sparkling birthday bash. Some of the notable 60 guests in attendance included: Michaela Angela Davis, Maurice Dubois, Ramon Hervey, Nelson George, Bryan Monroe, Walter Moseley, Lola Ogunnaike, Tracy Reese, Cheryl Riley, Ilyasah Shabazz and Ntozake Shange. One of the most special moments of the evening occurred when Ntozake Shange sang the praises of Harriette Cole with a moving speech.
Harriette Cole understands the uncertainty many individuals, families and businesses face with today’s austerity measures. Her work as President and Creative Director of Harriette Cole Media; prides itself on having more than 20 years experience “coaching others in their pursuit of an authentic, fulfilling life.” And if that isn’t enough, her uncompromising stance to be a beacon of hope is only preceded by the love of her family, which has made her a renowned and solid 21st Century brand.
“I was so excited to host friends and colleagues to celebrate my birthday. It was a perfect opportunity for everyone to network in fellowship. I was taught by my parents to believe anything good is possible and I continue to have that experience each year of my life. At this gathering there were so many people that have touched me in significant ways and I'm thankful for their presence and love.”
